Tell Them When It’s Back
Out of stock is disappointing.
It should not be a dead end.
If someone wanted the product enough to reach the page, compare it, and consider buying it, that intent has value.
Don’t waste it.
Give customers a way to be notified when the item returns.
A back-in-stock alert turns “not now” into “tell me later.” And later is much better than goodbye.
This is especially important for products with demand, common size gaps, or recurring restocks.
The alternative is simple: the customer leaves, forgets, or buys somewhere else.
Interest should have a place to wait.
When inventory disappears, the relationship shouldn’t.
