What I Wish Ecommerce Businesses Knew

Don’t Hide the Reviews

Reviews are not background decoration.

They are one of the ways customers borrow confidence from other customers.

So don’t bury them.

If ratings and reviews are hidden far below the fold, tucked into tabs, or easy to miss, you make reassurance harder to reach.

People use reviews to answer different questions: Is the product good? Does it fit as expected? Is the quality consistent? Did others regret buying it?

Those questions deserve visibility.

That doesn’t mean reviews should overwhelm the page. It means they should feel present enough to support the decision at the moment it matters.

Social proof only helps when customers can see it.

Trust loses force when evidence is hidden.

Can customers easily see ratings and reach product reviews from the product page?
