What I Wish Ecommerce Businesses Knew

Say When It’s Almost Gone

Transparent outlined silhouette illustration of a shopper seeing a genuine low-stock warning on a product card.

Scarcity works best when it is true.

If only one or two units remain, say so.

Not with fake countdowns.

Not with permanent urgency.

Just useful inventory information.

“Only 1 left” helps the customer understand that waiting has a consequence.

It can also explain why an item disappears later.

Real scarcity adds context to the decision.

Urgency earns trust when reality creates it.

Do you clearly show genuine low-stock information when only a few units remain?
