Make It Obvious

2 min read Ecommerce

People shouldn’t have to guess.

A button should look like a button.
A link should look like a link.

When something is clickable, it should announce itself.

A soft shadow.
Rounded corners.
A hover that responds when the cursor arrives.

Small signals.

But these signals matter.

Because every moment of hesitation is friction.

If a visitor wonders “Can I click this?”
you’ve already slowed them down.

The best interfaces whisper instructions.

Blue underlined text.
A subtle gradient.
A button that lifts when you hover.

No explanation needed.

Good design doesn’t hide the path.

It highlights it.

Look at stripe.com for example!

Clear buttons. Clear links. Clear movement.

You always know where to click.

Have you made it obvious what can be clicked on your store?
