Count What They Found
People like to know the size of the room they just walked into.
The same is true online.
If someone clicks a category or applies a filter, show how many products they found.
Not because the number is exciting.
Because orientation matters.
A visible count tells the customer whether they are dealing with five options, fifty, or five hundred. It helps them judge whether they should keep browsing, narrow further, or change direction.
Without that signal, the page feels more open-ended than it needs to.
This is a small detail, but small details reduce mental load.
And lower mental load is one of the quiet engines of conversion.
Clarity starts with knowing what the page returned.
