What I Wish Ecommerce Businesses Knew

Name It Clearly

A product title has one job before anything else:

Tell people what the product is.

Not vaguely. Not cleverly. Clearly.

If the name forces the customer to decode it, the page begins with friction.

Descriptive titles make scanning easier. They make search results easier to understand. They make category pages easier to compare.

And they reduce the tiny moment of doubt that appears when a customer has to ask, “Wait, what exactly is this?”

You can still have personality. You can still have a brand name. But clarity should come first.

Because customers should not need the description just to understand the title.

Name the product like you want it to be understood.

Does your product title clearly describe what the customer is looking at?
