Running late. Could they hold the movie?

Just for her.

It’s a generous ask. Human. Reasonable.

And impossible.

Because the moment you say yes to one person, you’ve said yes to everyone. And then start times stop meaning anything at all.

Systems scale. Exceptions don’t.

That’s the trade.

But here’s the important part:

She thought to ask.

Which means she believed there was a human in the system.

Your job isn’t to say yes.

Your job is to decide where yes live…

and make sure people can feel it.
